Product, SKU & supplier traceability

Traceability is the connective tissue of the ecosystem: every product, SKU, batch and supplier linked in one evidence structure.

Product and SKU identity

Each product is registered with its composition and formulation context; each marketable SKU receives a unique digital identity tied to that product record. This identity follows the goods through production, logistics and retail.

Batch and lot linkage

  • Batches linked to production lines, personnel and control checks.
  • Ingredient lots linked to supplier and provenance records.
  • Custody events linked to shipment identity and seals.
  • Retail inventory linked back to batch eligibility.

Supplier and provenance records

Upstream suppliers are recorded with their declarations and assurance status; ingredient provenance is established and verifiable. Where provenance cannot be established, the product dossier is held rather than waved through.

Why it matters commercially

Traceability is not only compliance hygiene. It is what allows a GCC importer to accept a Chinese-manufactured consignment with confidence, what allows a retailer to list with a defensible basis, and what makes a recall — should one ever be needed — precise instead of catastrophic.
